Hey there, I’m Scott.

I’m a recent graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a Masters of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Systems Integration with an emphasis on Product Development. During my time at RIT I was the president of multiple student organizations, most notably the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. I was also granted the high honor of Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar, an award reserved for the top one percent of students on campus. When not enrolled in courses, I worked at Northrop Grumman in the Mission Systems sector interning in both technical and managerial positions.

I have always had a passion for mechanical design. From Lego’s to machine shops you can always find me tinkering with something. Often, I am involved in projects that require me to work in teams to design and fabricate specialized solutions to challenging problems. Each of these projects have had the benefit of honing in on technical skills such as designing, modelling, fabricating, manufacturing, programming, and simulating. These projects fully encompass my willingness to leave my comfort zone and push myself to invent new and creative solutions. Tasks like these have also had the benefit of improving my technical writing skills to ensure informative but concise information is relayed through reports or technical memos. Two writing samples are found in the link buttons on this page. The first writing sample shows an individual research report on systems engineering topics, while the second writing sample outlines the results from a team-based design-of-experiments project.
